Hi there! I’m Jennifer- mom to three boys and a rescue dog, tea drinker, introverted phone call avoider, and writer here at The Peppermint Post. 🙋 I’m also a health & life coach and Aroma Freedom Technique Practitioner.
Maybe you imagine a health coach as a hyper energetic, marathon running, bikini model moonlighting fireball. I’m afraid that’s not me. 🙈 At twenty years old, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome after battling exhaustion and brain fog for all of my teen years. I gained 75 pounds in one year and spent the better part of a decade paralyzed with sickness and depression. For the past twenty years, I’ve researched health and wellness, experimenting to find what works. And finally, I started in on the work of chipping away the emotional baggage that holds us down just as much as the physical.
Basically, I became interested in health and wellness to get my life back! In the process, I became passionate about the mind/body connection, sharing what I learned, and helping others.
I started The Peppermint Post for people who are seeking a vibrant, healthy life. (What’s more vibrant than peppermint, right?) 😆 Here you’ll find practical steps you can take to maintain mind and body wellness. But we go a step beyond that.
The internet is bubbling over with information, but information doesn’t equal transformation, does it? Most of us kind of know what we should do, but we just don’t do it! My passion is helping people change habits. Little by little, we CAN break through those mental blocks that stop us from getting what we want.
