This probably isn’t the first time you’ve tried to change something in your life. Were you successful or did you slip back into your old ways? Whether you want to change your eating habits, fitness level, or how you manage your time or money, the key always lies in the same place: Your mindset.
Think about this; what do you tell yourself when you want to improve your fitness levels? Do you beat yourself up about being out of shape or being too “lazy”? I have been guilty of this myself. When you say “I never…” “I always”… “I am…”, be careful of what you are telling yourself.
Your brain believes what you say, and will act as you have programmed it to! It may feel silly at first, but consciously replace those negative messages with positive. Try this one for a week and see what happens. <3 Not sure what to say? Here’s something to get you started:
